Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect cloud-based solutions using the AWS technology stack.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and developers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of professional experience in cloud migration and solution architecture.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site in Seattle, WA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
